Getting to Manchester Airport from the hotel
Holiday Inn Manchester Airport is located directly opposite Terminal 2. Transferring from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 or 3 should take no more than 5 to 15 minutes on foot, with moving walkways throughout the terminal buildings. The Skylink route is the easiest walkway to transfer from terminal to terminal.
Ensure you’re in the right place by checking where your airline will be departing from or arriving into at Manchester Airport.
Terminal 1
Terminal 1 is approximately a 15 minute walk through the airport from the Holiday Inn Manchester Airport.
- Cross Palma Avenue towards Terminal 2
- Follow Atlanta Avenue towards Terminal 2
- Cross Atlanta Avenue and enter Terminal 2
- Take the lift or escalator to Floor 1 (T2 departures)
- Head to the left following signs for Terminals 1 & 3 / The Station
- Follow onto the Skylink
- Continue following signs for Terminals 1 & 3 and The Station, you reach The Station Upper Level.
- Upon entering the upper level of The Station, head right for Terminals 1 & 3, then continue straight ahead and through to Skylink. You will reach the end of the Skylink where T1 Departures B is down the escalator or lift (on your left-hand side).
- For T1Arrivals, continue past escalator and lift, then take the escalator, lift or stairs down to the arrivals hall.
Terminal 2
Terminal 2 is a 2 minute walk from the Holiday Inn Manchester Airport.
- Cross Palma Avenue onto Atlanta Avenue towards T2
- Follow Atlanta Avenue towards terminal
- Cross Atlanta Avenue and enter Terminal 2 (Floor 0, Arrivals)
- T2 departures are based on Floor 1, accessible by Lift and Escalator
Terminal 3
Terminal 3 is approximately a 15-18 minute walk through the airport from the Holiday Inn Manchester Airport.
- Cross Palma Avenue towards T2
- Follow Atlanta Avenue towards Terminal 2
- Cross Atlanta Avenue and enter Terminal 2
- Take the lift or escalator to Floor 1 (Terminal 2 Departures)
- Head to the left following signs for Terminals 1 & 3 / The Station
- Follow onto the Skylink
- Continue following signs for Terminals 1 & 3 and The Station until you reach The Station
- Upon entering the upper level of The Station, head right for Terminals 1 & 3, then continue straight ahead and through to Skylink. You will reach the end of the Skylink where there is a lift on your right-hand side.
- Take the lift to the Ground Floor.
- Exit Terminal 1, turn right towards Terminal 3, following the sheltered outdoor walkway. There are markings on the floor highlighting directions to Terminal 3.
- At the end of the walkway, T3 will be in front of you on the right-hand side. The departures hall is on the first floor which can be accessed by lifts or escalators.
